We protect and conserve natural resources by manufacturing our cables responsibly.

Energy efficiency and water conservation are integral parts of our sustainability plan at Superior Essex. Through our use of state-of-the-art lighting systems, energy-efficient production equipment and closed-loop water systems, we’ve achieved significant reductions in our energy and water use throughout our manufacturing operations.

We’ve proudly had our products and facilities continually audited for sustainability since 2012, and we update our certifications annually.

Our Responsible Manufacturing 位置

We locate our manufacturing facilities in areas where they will have a minimal impact on the surrounding habitats and environments. We never open facilities in environmentally sensitive areas such as wetlands, primary dunes or old-growth forests. All of our products are made in the U.S. and our support local communities.

Cabling companies regularly use wooden reels to store and ship their cable and wire products. As part of our recycling program, we’re committed to reusing our reels or recycling them to create new materials. Through these measures, we’ve reduced our consumption of new reels by four million pounds annually.
